Going to Costa Del Liverpool to watch the Champions league final (where to watch?)

Would love to go to Athens but having to settle for second best.

I have a hotel booked for the 23rd and was wanting helpful info on where to watch the match?

Last time I travelled down to watch Liverpool in a pub was when we stuffed Man U in the Carling Cup final and we watched it in the Sports Bar on Matthew Street (correct me if i'm wrong).

The atmosphere was amazing and I had people jumping on me because I had Gerrard wrote on my shirt (not many had back then). Is this the best place to go or is there better??

You wont go wrong in any bars round Liverpool that night, the problem will actually be getting in and getting a view of the TV. Pity they wont show it in Clayton square on the giant screen because of the trouble last time during an England match.

Theres a nice little bar next to a place called Goodison Park............ the locals are dead friendly especially if your wearing your Gerrard top, you would be an instant hero

Normally go to Sam Dodds when I go down to the matches, which is outside of town, only visited Liverpool City Centre twice for dinking and as said Visited the Sports bar.

I watched the final in Baracuda at the bottom of Wood St last time and the atmosphere was amazing!!! They have 2 HUGE projected screens and loads of TV's so u cant miss the game..........This year I wont be there unfortunatly

Me thinks they are just bitter because they are just not good enough and they won't need their passports.

you cant go wrong in the sports bar, its speaks for itself really. Although most people are right, anywhere in town will be good night, you could also try aldo's bar , but like someone has already said you will have to be early .
