DS Firmware flash

Can someone tell me which DS's need to have their firmware flashed to use the Supercard? I seem to remember some didn't need it but I can't remember which.

yeah all do, unless its a supercard slot 1 card.

Nah, its a slot 2 card. I thought the silver ones didn't need flashing (probably wrong though)

they do need flashing and not the kind where u open ur mac and flash haha
