Xbox live arcade retro remakes

Double dragon was out last weds on xbox live arcade, its good, pretty much arcade perfect, but it was very short and finished in one go.

Bit disappointing. I remember it being a lot harder, it used to cost me about £3 to finish it at 20p a go!

Have you ever had golden memories of a classic dashed when you've gone back to play it several years on?

20p i remember playing this at 10p a go lol. yea i remember playing final fight and street fighter 1 and 2 for years in the arcade, street fighter 1 now looks and plays shit, but i still play streetfighter 2"mame on xbox" and love it. i also went ot play world heros and found it shit and fatal fury, i loved those in the arcade back in the day

That is my fave game on MAME, I remember it so fondly from the original arcade too. I remember lying through my teeth to my parents so I could go down to the fair just to play Track n Field. If they present a 100% authentic game then I'd actually be tempted to buy an XBLA game.

Commando, Green Beret, supersprint , Robocop and paperboy all favourites of mine like to see those on XBLA.

Im waiting for a 360 game I can really get into im hoping Assassin's Creed will be the one.

At about £4 a pop, you can shove them up ya arse MS!

The truth is that you can get remakes of virtually all the old classics for free on the PC... however I find that even my best classic game holds limit gameplay. I'll be fecked if I spend anything on this XBLA crud that should be free!
