Caught out: Brian Beaton

A motorist has been jailed for fitting his car with false number plates, then driving through speed cameras, grinning and waving as they flashed at him.
Company director Brian Beaton was clocked doing 45mph in a 30mph zone in his Mercedes, as well as 71mph in a 50mph area, a court heard.
The 58-year-old mocked police as he went through the speed traps because he thought they would be unable to trace him.

What I don't understand is why would a 58 year old do this? Surely being a company director you'd have better things to do than to think of what number plate I should use next.

Well after his 4 month prison sentence I doubt he'll ever speed through a camera again.
