    Question Thames Water

    Hey guys,

Just wondering if someone might be able to give me some advice with a water meter issue.

I've just moved in to a property and have been informed by Thames Water that i HAVE to get a water meter installed.

Have done a bit of reading on the net and as far as I can see, the company has to have 'water scarcity status' . There is no mention that Thames Water have this status on the site - can I tell them to F%$K off? or do I have to do as they say?

any help would be much appreciated!

They're fuckin' bastards. Then and Essex Water.

They gave me and Mrs J a load of crap about "you HAVE to have a meter" and "it'll save you on average a 3rd" when they wrote to us that it was policy or whatever. Then a week later they turn round and say they couldn't fit one, so they can fuck off.

Still, there's no hose-pipe ban this year and I don't have a meter to I'm watering my grass every night.
