Default BBC Public Value Test - HD on DTT!

BBC HD would be available on digital satellite and cable, with DTT following post-switchover. In the meantime the BBC plans to air BBC HD over DTT between 2am and 6am using capacity from BBC Four, BBC Parliament and three BBCi streams.

So 4 hours of HD on dtt, although you'll probably need to record it as it'll be at night, but it's a start.

    not so nice...

I mean, 1st you need a DTT receiver that can decode HD (new DTT receiver... and I doubt thet are gonna be £20). Then you need a device that can actually record HD DTT signals. Then you have to question who is going buy both of the above just for 4 hours a early morning HDTV?

True ... but the main point behind this is that HD signals are finally being "prepped" to hopefully be rolled out soon

or just get a hd pvr or use a computer ?

there's not been a reason for manufacturers to build stbs for the uk for hd over dtt, now there is prices will start dropping
