    Default Bike Storage

    Hey!
Can anyone reccomend outside storage for bikes?
Our shed is full with the car roof box and tons of other shite and I need a small shed or something for the bikes. There are two adult mountain bikes and two kids bikes. At the moment I've got a couple bike shackle points bolted to the concrete floor in the back yard and an all weather cover for them, but I'd much rather have something a bit more secure and weather proof.
    Cheers.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, the funky gibbon.

I eould look to building something over the points you have as they will be about your securest option. Think of maybe galvanized steel or similar as it won't rot and doesn't need constant treatment. I use a brick shed that was built on the house when it was built which is handy but this is probably an expensive addition. Another good one is to install a beam in the shed and hang the bikes on it with their seats while shackling them to it using the frame. Gets them off the ground and out of the way if the shed you have has some space upwards. My old man used to do this in his garage with the beams.
