If people could offer some advice I would be very grateful
I enjoy my old SLR cameras but have not sued them for some time. SO I thought to see if I want to take the plunge and get a super SLR Digital camera I might go for a compact one and see if I pic it up again.
This has partly been prompted by how far these have come. I friend has a small digital camera and took a shot one night that made the lights go in the lines (you can see I am clearly up on all the technical terms). He also showed me a whole host of neat little features.
I am not sure on price. If you would be so kind as to perhaps point out a midrange one and a high range one in terms of price.
So I am looking for a decent small digital camera with the ability to change camera film speed features (I guess) with the ability to take black and white (sorry if this is a standard feature). Do any compact digital cameras come with the ability to take a shot with the cat eye effect? Also looking for a good macro.
Looking to follow up on suggestions from here this weekend and try for a purchase next weekend.
Please assume I know nothing! I would be happier to be treated like a fool and have simple things noted than be overlooked. My camera days are now 10 years old and even then it was a low cost hobby cobbled together from second had purchases and hand downs.
I have (no used anymore) a very old Minolta (dads from 70’s) with standard lenses plus macro ability with a 2x converter and a long lens for long distant scenery shots. Also a Cannon T70 (I think 70, defiantly a T) again with the same as above.
Cheers…..Q
