video signal cutting out

hello all,

just got a ps3 on saturday, everything is fine except for when im playing on games from the store the video signal seems to be cutting out for a split second which causes my plama to re adjust and it goes black for a few seconds. i played for about an hour on my mates plama with hdmi and it didnt do it once, im using a ps2 component cable on mine. any ideas??

also having trouble with psp remote play, psp says cannot find access point when starting, running 3.40 oe.

edit: another thing it doesnt ever do it in the xmb or while playing motorstorm, only games from the store.

I,m getting the same problem via hdmi on my toshiba wlt32.It just goes blue for a split second no matter what game i,m playing.

I have the same problem on my Sharp LC-42XD1E on my 360 and Wii through component. The Sharp engineers haven't been able to suggest a solution.

ive sorted it by selecting only use 720p (thats why motorstorm wasnt doing it) wierd.

also sorted the psp thing, i had to enable atrac playback in settings.
