yes its a fookin pain cos i had to wait 7 days before i could open a dispute.

it was a van i sold for 800.68p and the winner fooked me around but as luck had it the second place bidder emailed me and asked if i still had it so he now owns it and i reported the winner and had no fees to pay, oh the second bidder was 800 quid so i did well out of it really.

you could always offer it to the next highest bidder m8, second chance offer thing as ebay will refund your fees for the winning bidder when you open the dispute.

Why does "fat chance" and "slim chance" mean
    the same thing?

Can't understand why you didn't give him your account number and sort code as he may have been genuinely attempting to pay you. This information is displayed on any cheques you write. Unless I'm missing something? I am a bit pissed right now though!

Yeah, why didn't you just give him the bank details? What can he do with an account number and sort code?

Would've saved you the Paypal fees too.

You can't do much with just a sort-code and account number other than put money into someone's account. Maybe you've been watching too much fonejacker

Yep, you could have given him your bank details. I had a payment of 10 grand put in my account as I didn't want to get hammered with paypal fees.

I hate idiots who mess you about. Best thing to do is to set buyer restrictions of paypal only.

    Hi
thats tame compared with one of my ones now....I was selling a Netgear wireless router DG834G (ver1) and was horrified when it went for £2.61
2 weeks and no response from guy, despite my usual emails, I report for final value claim and he emails me...to say he has money issues - lolol for £2.61 + £5 special delivery. I emailed him to say look why not leave it I can get far more selling private....then after another email from paypal to say I have received an "echeque" from him - which takes another 10 days to clear!
what a nightmare nearly a month to get £2.61 what planet do these goofs live in?
    LOL
