Default TV Tuners and Cable TV

Is there a TV tuner card that does what a dbox2 does?

I remember years ago I bought a dirt cheap portable b&w set. It had tuner selection for uhf and vhf. When I used the wrong frequency band, I managed to get a few channels on the old analogue cable system.

I've got a pci dvb-c card if you want - will have to wait a bit if you want as I'm not in the country atm.

Why bother,a Dbox connected to your router and you can have Cable TV on your PC anyway.Infact all your PCs on the network can have it.I even watch Football outside on my wireless Laptop.
