    Question fluctuating channels

Hi i hope someone can help me I was told from my local tv repair shop that where i live i couldnt get freeview but i installed a new wideband ariel on my shed roof (about 12 feet) and decided on a trial scan tada 32 channels found so i had another play about with the ariel and now i get 88 channels which is great but channels 47 50 and 51 keep going all over the place .
so i moved the ariel onto my roof at gutter height about 20-25 feet but it isnt any better. I also installed a second booster today and the first 3 channels have when from 36% to about 70% and 99% signal quality but the bottom 3 arent any better.

    My setup is
    1 wideband ariel from homebase @ 19.99
    25 meters of cable
    1 2set booster at 16dB @ 7.49 from argos
    1 10-20dB ajustable booster @ 8.99 from argos
and a LG 42" lcd television with intergrated freeview
the tv has an intergrated booster (which is on ) and a 5v anntenna power which is on

my local areil isnt freeview enabled (hallidon hill) and some of the town gets freeview from selkirk but live in a depression so cannot get that there is an areil at chatton which is only about 16 miles but for some reason im picking up a signal from pontop pike which is about 100 miles away in stanley

any help would be appreciated as the frequencys that keep coming abd going are my itv and channel 4

Are you getting multiple "ITV's " or "C4's" if so one may be better than the other (as it will be form the alternative transmitter).

the channels are bundled together in what are called MUX's you'll find that if you get say BBC1 then the rest of the BBC channels should be fine, the same goes for the ITV ones, if you get one then you'll get the rest of them in that MUX

HERE is a list of the channels and their MUX's

no the itv i get is tyne tees but that comes and goes as well but ive got scaffolders coming next week so im gonna move the ariel up to the chimmney and bolt it straight on as i see it wobbles about on the mast quite a bit and there are trees in front of it at the minute and the roof will bypass them
