Guys, trying to put together a intranet for work .. running Windows server 2003 standard and also have IIS running and SQL server 2005 .... found a free CSS website template I liked the look of - but I was wondering if there was a better solution around. As whilst what I have done looks nice clean and crisp, it takes a lot to maintain it. For example one page is a directory of all staff, and I wish I could pull this information straight in from active directory.

I am not a whizz on websites but do like trying things ...

Any help would be appreciated.

you can do it in asp.net, do a search for asp.net and active directory, there a plenty of pages that show you how.

Ok, will do a search and see what I can come up with. Can you recommend any good books for a starting point as well.
