So begins my 3RL saga!

Well as Pizzaman knows my 360 popped its clogs on Sat morning with the dreaded 3RL.

It was only 13 months old according to its date of birth on the case!

I had only had it for 9 months.

Managed to flash it back to its original firmware last night and after 3 phone calls to MS eventually got them to arrange to get it repaired under the 3 year warranty.

Just waiting for my UPS labels to show up by email now and away it can go.

Was quoted 25 working days as the maximum repair time!

Will keep you all informed how it goes!

Finally got round to arranging for UPS to collect today!

Expect another instalment in this exciting saga 4 weeks from now!!

I too have 3RL's and phoned M$ today to arrange repair.

They have told me that the postage labels will be brought round by courier!! I thought they were emailed?

Anyway, they said to pack it in a standard postage box and if it is ready, the courier will take it when he brings the labels.

Seems strange to me that they aren't emailing the labels.

P.S. where can I get the postage box from?

If you ask them they will send the label by e-mail...thats what i did anyway.

I got mine from work any old box will do tho mate....get one from Tescos and cover it in plain paper

I have just got mine back, quoted 25 days it was back on the eleventh day, also it was a banned console i swapped the case for a unbanned 1 so different serial number and got a different console back unbanned, very happy.

Well, the UPS man turned up today, i'm quite impressed as I only phoned M$ yesterday. Unfortunately I hadn't had time to box up the 360 so I have arranged for it to be picked up on Monday.

We'll see if M$ are as efficient as UPS.

Apparently there's a cut off time of 2pm with UPS for collections.

Perhaps its different if they collect from business addresses?

Just got my 360 back from M$, quite good service, only about 2 weeks since I sent it.

Opened it up to see it they have replaced the Sammy MS25 with a Benq drive. Am I fucked or is there someone here that can help me out ?
