    Default Navcore v7.000 for Tomtom

Zibri's cracked this to work on the dedicated Tomtom units that use a memory card (but seems there is an audio problem on some of the new Tomtom One models).
It will also work on the units with an internal hard drive, but do not think that the TTS will work on them though.

***Make sure you have a full working back up copy before making any changes !!***

I have now got this working on my Go500 - I just copied all the files onto my memory card - overwrote any existing files. You will need to have the LoquendoTTS files / folders installed BEFORE you add this version to your memory card.

    LoquendoTTS is still working .
Can change the arrow icon for a car symbol.
The Help Me files are working.

Voice recording also works, but I have to put it in the car mount which has got a built in microphone. The Go500 does not have it's own microphone.

Map sharing / editing functions will not work on any older maps, & at the moment none of the new maps have been cracked & can only be activated using Tomtom Home.

    Code:
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7RGIKFJ2

Here's the folder named ' art ' with the car symbols, copy this folder to the root of your Tomtom :-
    Code:
    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N9EXF6LX

Am I missing something? The file you posted the other day worked fine on my 510.

Did all the features such as MP3 player, photo browser & TTS work ok with those files ?

Hello Russ, Thanks for all of the info....
I have tried NavCore7 on my TomTom One 1st Version, not all functions are available and I can't change the Car Icon even though Art has been installed.

    I am doing something wrong?

In the art folder you should have another folder named cars - the images inside it are all .BMP files & 80 x 80 pixels in size - have you got these ?

I don't think the TTS will work on the 700 with this software, this was for units that use a memory card.

Seems like you are out of luck with it then - do any other features work ?

Try using the car icon when in 3-D mode - found out it does not work when in 2-D mode.

I could not connect to megaupload but found another version, not sure if it is the same.
