D:/ is not a valid win32 application

^ That is the error i get , when i try to set-up..

I have the correct specifications for this game, does anyone have a solution for this? Please

Maybe try D:\

Is the D drive your cd drive with the game in?
Do any other cd's work in that drive?

If the drive is not detected then you can try deleting the upper and lower filters in the registry and then on reboot it should reappear.

If this is the case let me know and I can tell you how to do this properly...

The key thing is to goto start run then typing regedit
Then navigate to the following:
My Computer-->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SYSTEM --> CurrentControlSet --> Control --> Class --> {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

In here delete the UpperFilters and LowerFilters files then reboot.

That should fix the problem...

If it doesn't then check on boot to see if the D drive is detected. If is detected by the motherboard and not xp then it is a software issue. If it isn't detected by the motherboard then check that it is connected inside the case.

Thanks, it worked.
I did follow a guide like this from somewhere but it said only to delete LowerFilters, which did not work, however when i did both and restarted it worked.
