N95 Certificate

Keep getting certificate expired on lots of stuff, gans themes etc.

I have had a read through but seem lost!

can someone please explain what this means?

the application hasnt been signed vodafone and a few others have made it so that the N95 is requiring applications to be in the trusted zone before they can be installed

Most themes that come up with a certificate error can be fixed by changing your date to a few months back unless they need to be signed.

when you first generate yourself a certificate it can seem like quite a long winded process but once you have it signing apps is dead easy and takes only a few seconds to do. You'll only need to generate another certificate for yourself if you change your phone or have more than 1 phone which you want to run signed apps on.

OK, I now have a certificate but how do I use this on ethe phone?

Double clicked and installed but it still says invalid certificate.

you don't actually install the certificate on your phone m8 !

You use the certificate to "sign" the apps you want to install. When you download an app that needs signing it usually has the litle program inside you need to use to sign it. So using the app signing program and your newly acquired certificate you can sign the .sis file and then you copy that signed .sis file to your memory card or phone and the install.

Try registering again - I tried a few days ago & my e-mail was rejected, but managed to register on there earlier today using my pipex addy.
