    Help Analogue sound on Freeview

    Hi

I recently bought a Humax PVR9200T Freeview box and sometimes the sound from an analogue channel (BBC1) can be heard in the background whilst viewing digital channels. Occasionally it is loud enough to disturb our viewing. Is there a reason for this and is there a cure?

    Geoff

Bleed over can happen but can you tell me how you have your boxes connected..?

Are you using SCART connections everywhere and hence AV channels or do you watch your freeview box through a normal channel??

If you use your box thorugh a normal RF channel then change the freq on the digi box to something away from all the other channels you recieve and then retune your "digi channel" and then the bleed over should have gone.

If you just use AV 's and Scart cables then check connections, it might be a duff SCART cable (but this is unlkiely)...

    Hope this helps..

Thanks. I use AVs and SCART with an RF loop-through, so checked the leads. They weren't loose, but re-arranging them worked immediately, suggesting that there was 'bleed' from the RF to the SCART if that is possible.
