Tom Tom is "free" but doesnt use the internal GPS you have to buy a Bluetooth receiver. The Smart2Go is 45 quid for 3 years though i think if you want to use the internal GPS

Route 66 works fine with the internal GPS - it's better than Smart2Go but not much.
Neither of them stack up very well against TomTom - TT7 is on the way and will apparently support N95 and i'm sure when it is released it'll be modified and available from all the usual places very soon afterwards. I'd say wait for TT7 and put the £45 you might have spent on smart2go towards a legit copy if you want - personally Smart2go isn't worth 45 pence

Gotta agree with Northernbloke. Tomtom is the only way to go to be honest. I'm running Tomtom 6 on my N95 but using a seperate bluetooth tomtom GPS unit, have a 4gb card and have the central and eastern europe map installed and it runs like a champ. Tried the Nokia maps thing with the assisted GPS option but thought it was a load of shit to be honest and it always wants to connect to a network as well.

Haven't tried route66 on my N95 but tried it a few years ago on my previous symbian phones and compared to tomtom I thought it was shite too so I'm not going to bother with it.

As suggested either wait for TT7 or if you cannot wait buy a cheap bluetooth GPS for about £30 and use TT6 for the mean time. Defeats the purpose of a built-in GPS I know but I doubt the built-in GPS module in the N95 is as good as my tomtom mk2 GPS.
