Looks like im not going to be able to make it ive got to be back from london by mid afternoon thursday (2 reasons 1 my heatin system is gettin installed thurs and fri so for the 1st time since the floods 3months ago ill have heating and 2 im booked in for some ink done on fri cant decide between some on each arm and an upper sleave on one arm) hope you fellas enjoy your selfs

Won't be on a stall m8, Mick is not working the show. I'll be about most of the day, I think the doors open at noon. I got there last year at 2pm and it was pretty busy.

Due to the postage strikes there are going to be long queues to get in. The ticket seller is distributing tickets purchased online, on the day.

The fast track queue is where they are going to be giving people there tickets purchased online!! You shouldn't have much trouble getting in.

Hey Guys!
I was at the 2006 convention and I've been trying to contact Hernandez ever since (I even asked him on the day!) via email and phone and last sat he replied to me with "What do you want done, where?".

So I resent the email (can't tell you how many times over the year ) hoping he'd get back to me at least 2 days before the event and, well, it starts tomorrow and nothing



Last year he was pretty free in fact he took on two walk ins..

So, i'm sitting here right now thinking, do I book flights/hotel for 2 days and hope he's got time (he's done it before!).... or save money and wait till he's in france or something? I don't want to wait till London Con 2008 ZzZz

I've been waiting 2 years for this and I only go to the London/Berlin cons but, things have changed and London is the closest/cheapest and easiest place for me.

Maybe I should flip a coin?

just back from the convention - was wicked fun. Wife and pals loved it too, so was good day out all in all.

Loved seeing the suicide girls. Some real freak shows on display....Got a couple of nice reference books, and some excellent excellent first hand views of some great artists at work. Will be going again next year for sure.

It was the same setup as the last few years, 95% of the stall's where in the same places. I spent more time drinking downstairs than wandering around. I won't be going again unless I am getting tattooed. It was another trouble free event with everyone on best behaviour. You gotta love the Hells Angels, they now have Land Rovers with their logo on the side! Lot's of people getting walk in's done and it didn't seem to be that busy.

Hangover and the 5hit's have gone, some more interesting stuff:

• Watched my tattooist have a chat Paul Booth while he was eating a sandwich, spitting it on him and getting it all over his own shirt.
• Lots of lovely young girls walking around who loved my ink, what is it these days with facebook? I was asked by everyone of them if I have an account.
• Tony Ciavarro, Bugs, Bob Tyrell, Bones & Shane O'Neill all doing amazing pieces on people.
• The pissed Kiwi bloke who shook Phil Kyle's hand while describing him as the "fat yank who is on telly with the fat lezza and smack head". Classic.
• Becks with Green Lime at £3 a bottle! It as that or flat Lager from a dirty pump.
• Getting stoned in the queue while the Hells Angels eyeballed us, ooh scarey.
• The Tikka Massala afterwards on Brick Lane, my arse still hurts.
• Laughing at the Kiwi's getting humped before going home.
• No smoking, what a great law to bring in!!
