    Default One way flights

Does anyone one know of a good place to look for a single flight?

Im wanna come back for miami around the 25th October, but everywhere i look i seem to get over 450 quid. I cant work out why i could get a return from NY for £250, but a single from miami is that price. I aready have a return booked, but want to stay a week or so longer, but they wont change the dates.

    cheers m.

have you thought about driving to a different airport, you could do the 'road trip' thing, see a few sights and get a cheaper flight.

Could you book a return for cheaper? Is so just book it and 'forget' to take the return!
    All sweeping statements are wrong.

    What that man says !!!

A single will nearly always cost more than a round trip.

But also look for a return to say paris or amsterdamn that lands/connects in the UK and if you've only got hand luggage how about leaving the flight in the uk....

Thats the best option at the moment. seems to be the cheapest with the least amount of travel.

have a look at some US sights - they often a fair chunk cheaper than UK ones, even for the same flight (was in the news the other day)

Really? I booked 3 flights (to San Diego, San Francisco and New York) and the return trip was always more expensive than a single. The difference may not always be half but I think it is stupid to suggest that they nearly always cost more. The airline companies wouldn't let that happen most of the time, they'd clearly just sell second flights that no one would use (and they couldn't then sell).
