Check out Termy's post here mate:

    http://www.digital-forums.com/showpo...9&postcount=15

if you want to do it yourself you'll need to buy the code from someone or use the Crazzy clip option but to be honest if you're only unlocking the one phone it's pointless. You'll also need to a bit tech savvy since to use the clip as you might need to downgrade/upgrade the firmware of the phone, not to mention you'll also need to take it apart as well ! there is no free solution, although it is possible to build an N95 unlocking clip yourself as well but again it's not the faint hearted.

If you really want it unlocked, bite the bullet and pay the price mate, either contact the network or go to a reputable place who can do it for you. it's not worth messing about with such an expensive piece of kit if you don't know what you're doing.

Definitely the best option or else you could be stuck with a very expensive paper weight Once it's unlocked I also recommend debranding it. This will remove all the Vodafone software on your phone so it will be like a sim-free N95, more so since you intend to use a T-Mobile sim in it. Main benefits for doing this no more network branded software on the phone and as a result the phone is usually quicker and it will have all it's functions. Some networks restrict/remove certain functions on the phone.

Luckily this can be done for free :-p check out the sticky at the top of the forum to see how. If ya get stuck give me a shout and I'll be happy to help.

I had the same problem and updated my firmware - now no problem

Search for a post that Raptor made on the N95
    Have Fun.
