What about an MS handheld?

Is there one in development? Have MS announced anything?

Doesn't seem like MS to miss out on a chance to bite a juicy chunk out of a lucrative market

So far the xbox project has cost them billions, so i wouldnt expect them to throw money at a handheld just yet.

They have already announned games for the DS anyway, afterall Rare are owned by MS and they have games out and due for the machine, as well as official MS releases such as Age of empires.

There was one rumoured a year or so ago but i think they took a look at the DS's dominance and decided not to bother. There was a comment from them along the lines of "we'll let nintendo and sony fight over the handheld market"

It would be nice to see what they can come up with but i highly doubt they will.
