MDA Vario II

I wanna get an new phone and was looking at this one. Main reason's are for the touch screen and the PDA functions which would come in handy. Was looking at the iPhone but the cost vs features the get isnt worth it.

Anyone got this phone or can recommend any other PDA/Phone devices?

Mate, the Vario II is over a year old.. I've had two other smartphones since my Vario II (Treo 750v and N95). I would wait for the Vario III aka HTC Kaiser.. that'll be my next phone.

Haha I didnt know that. Just saved me a bit of money there. Any ideas when the Vario III is out? I need a new phone soonish.

I've heard mid to end October on a network or you could buy it now from Expansys. trust me its worthy it, GPS, better camera etc..

its supposed to e out late september or early oct. hopefully its better than the 2 that was the bain of my life...it was like being on 3 again with an e606

Had a Vario II for just over a year and it's a great phone - once you have upgraded the OS and the Radio ROMs :S

Vario III looks to be more of the same except with GPS built in so I would probably go for the Vario III when T-Mobile officially release it :S

apparently vario III will be available from tomorrow on t-mobile, although there's huge demand, I'm going to try online tomorrow and see if it's there.

just ordered my vario III over the phone from t-mobile, should arrive tomorrow if next day delivery is to be believed, £139.99 on Flext 25 + web'n'walk Plus (18 months), I think the price of phone seems to vary from customer service rep to others, as I've seen elsewhere that people have got it cheaper of more expensive, still 140 for a gps/pda/phone isn't bad.
