Will R4 play films

Hi I have been told that you can watch divx films etc on your ds from mem stick, I have just tried and it says 'this types of files currently not allowed to operate'. Anybody know if it can be done............ cheers Morphias

i think the program u need is called DPGtools as all video files need to be converted to .dpg to play with the r4.

morphias - for a quick example of your ds playing movies, just do a quick search on google for dpg movies, there are quite a few films that people have already converted to this format. just drop them on your memory card and you should be able to play them no problem. i've just done this for my son (some simpsons cartoon series) - i'd upload one, but it's 61mb when zipped

The quickest and simplest way I have found to convert movies to DPG format is to use SUPER. Works a treat.
