unable to embed videos onto the forum

i am unable to embed videos onto the forum and have pmed mr o etc but as yet i am still unable to embed them

any suggestions ?

What section are you trying to embed them in mate?
ASFAIK, only the video section will let you embed vids, all the others will just display the code.

It is dependant on section and if you have a look at the bottom corner of the thread you are replying to you will see a number of allow/not allow statements. In the section you are trying to post a video it looks as follows and as you are effectively posting html you won't be able to.

Was it a mod who posted it? May make a difference.

edit: Just tried this and it didn't work but found another way of doing it.

I find if I click on the icon top right of this post window (Two little letters 'A') this then adds a scroll bar to the right of this post window, then paste the embed code and it then works.
