Bit confused as to what you mean mate.. but make sure it's a dbox2, if it's for cable TV then it's input is a cable feed and it's output to the TV is via scart connector.

Sounds like a DM500-s at that money ???
Be careful if it is one of the boxes from TUTV with a hardrive ( which it sounds like i paid 99 quid for mine ) it was suposed to be 75 with a years subs or 99 without any subscription. I paid the 99, then they kept phoning me to sign on 9.99 a month with the stupid films and other sh*te downloaded on to it, as they wish. I would never have time to watch all the crap they put into it so I kept refusing ( telling them i would go to Sly if they did not leave me alone ) so......one year on the box is now not letting me record or play back the progs which I have recorded on it. There is a pop-up thingy which says before I can record or play a recording on an item I paid for that I have got to pay subs of 9.99 a month for rubish I do not want.
Would appreciate it if anyone knows a way round it, if not I think I will pop to Asda and buy a freeveiw recorder with no ties for about 80 quid ( but I do not think the hd is as big.
Any info would, as I said be greatly appreciated b4 I go to Asda
