This isn't a rant about religion. Just the fact that these cunts knock on the door and preach.

I'm sitting in the office when two guys knock on the door, I open "Hi", first guy says "oh, your home" - Of course I'm fuckin' home you twat, that's why I opened the door.

Anyway, he starts his ramble, to which I politly reply "no thank you, I'm not interested".
He continues to ramble on and again without sounding rude, I say "no thank you, I'm not interested."

and still he continues...... a little more sternly I tell him to politely "Fuck Off".

Guy 2 stands there like a fuckin lemon, what they hell is guy 1 trying to teach him? How to piss people off?

I think that pimping your religion to others on their doorstep should be classed as harassment and be an offence with a jail term. When they then land in jail and start preaching to the other inmates that would serve as a good punishment for the crimes committed by others.

I always tell them to fuck off when they arrive on my doorstep as they usually do as a result.

Yes it did.would you like me to send some of the copies i've finished with they are very useful and informative if you've recently lost a family member or are struggling with life in general.It will teach you that money is not the answer to your problems but God is.If you'd rather you can pm me with your address and myself and a fellow believer will visit you at home when it's convenient for you and we'll have a chat.Or alternatively just pop in to your local Jehovah meeting centre and have a chat with anyone in there i can feel you reaching out for the lord and feel it is my duty to put you on the path of righteousness.
Anyway as i said just pm me and i'll either visit you (with a trainee if you don't mind) or send you a few copies of this months watchtower so you can keep one yourself and pass a few round to friends and family and lead them into the light.Remember God is the answer and with christmas fast approaching now is the ideal time to become a devout Jehovah witness and not have to spend any money on gifts for peole.

There was a program I saw where the chap decided to turn the table on the JWs and go round to their houses and preach atheism. The JWs were very rude and aggressive.

my local JW, Brian (yes, I know his name), has been trying to convert me for years, and I think he has now finally given up. However, I must say I always found my conversations with him to be fun, his knowledge of the bible versus my criticisms of the bible. He comes armed each month or so with the latest Watchtower ready with the particular article that he believes will convert me, and I must admit, some of the articles are very valid. They're not all about religion, many are about social issues as well (such as why so many kids are being stabbed and gunned down on the streets of this country). Of course, they see these signs as the pending armageddon, and in some ways maybe they are right, its just that there's no god around to welcome the 100,000 to his right hand. Which is what they believe I think, which in itself is odd as there are WAY more than 100,000 JW's in the World.

Its all madness IMO, but at least they're harmless.

Sounds like you get on with yours, and that's fair enough but they can border on harrassing as Bert said.

They wouldn't be an issue if they didn't turn up on your doorstep and refuse to go away after the first, second or third request.

I've only ever had one visit. As you say the first guy was talking and the second stood their like a tool doing bugger all. They were ok though, once I said no to them they left.

I remember an old couple coming round my house, just to wind the missus up i invited them in and persistently interrupted them by talking about football. The wife was going ape shit, but they had a cuppa and left. Still didnt let them preach their guff and they've never been back since.

He's a pleasant chap, and is always happy to shove off quickly when I'm not in the mood for a discussion. However, I do think if any others were to try, I'd probably be very offensive to them
