Nintendo DS Need help flashing Ds lite

    Evening

I have a ds lite, passme2 and supercard ds (from way back). Trying to flash the ds lite with flashme v.8. using iqsram.gba and the save game data from dark faders site. Once i boot the ds without the passme2, i go to gba then iqsram to write the sram save data. I then plug the passme2 in and quickly reboot and am greeted with 2 white screens. Not sure where I am going wrong here!!

    No replies?

Hi arvin, probably not the answer you're looking for, but you'd be much better off with either an R4DS or an M3 simply - these are both slot 1 cards, which require no slot 2 device, no flashing, nothing.

FIll a micro sd with the games and away you go.

I'll have a look to see if I can find a solution to your problem though, although I do have no experience with the setup you're using.

ive never done it with a passme2, but i have used the all in one superpass type cards, its very simple with those, just plug it in and run flashme off the slot2 card.

looks like everyone gave up on the supercard, spoke to a few people and said that the supercard was "caveman shit" so ive upgraded to the r4ds, thanks for the advice.

I think you've took the typical route a lot of DS owners have done. I upgraded mine and my girlfriends Supercard to the R4' and haven't looked back.

I remember thinking at the time I wasn't too bothered about slot-1 devices but the dealextreme offer they had made it very, very tempting. It's so much easier, no need to fanny around with patching the roms or whatever (except for Arm7 fix ones anyway !).

I remember flashing my old "phat" DS back in the day but since I got the R4 and my DSLite I haven't bothered.

The supercards are now at the bottom of the draw somewhere, will pass them onto my nephews but I suspect they have probably got an R4 already as well

Happy gaming mate - you won't regret your purchase
