Help Server Room Network Port Database Software

    Hi Everyone
I've been trawling the internet hoping to find some software that would allow me to keep tabs of all my server room ports at work.
What I'm looking for as an application that will allow me to manually input all the network ports that are patched into desks throughout the building
Ie; server switch port 110 connects to desk port 987
I need to keep a database so that I can track exactly which server switch port goes to exactly which desk port

I know I could create a little excel spreadsheet to do this, but I'm really looking for something that has a nice HTML frontend

If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it
    Cheers

    Labelling is great!
trouble is, unless you sit in a server room with all the port numbers to hand....it's useless in providing support!
I need something that will enable me to provide details in the case of an audit....working in the military means just labelling is not acceptable...we have to provide full details of what is plugged into what port...and where!

set up a small database (bit of overkill) then have alook at ruby on rails - will very easily and quickly give you a web interface (litterally 1 line on command line will create a basic web page) that can show and add/update the ports etc.
