In stock when you pay then magically out of stock

Ordered a cyclowiz (to replace my wiinja v2) this morning from a well known dealer as it was in stock and had a same day dispatch policy even paid for special delivery in the hope it would come tomorrow and i could sort it out in the morning and give smg a blast at last.

Checked account status and payment had gone through,checked later ready for dispatch went to work thinking the jobs a good un just checked now to make sure it had been dispatched and.......

FFS Why do certain places insist on taking payment when they ain't even got the item in stock and not even give you the option of whether you want to wait or not.The likes of the item i paid for today are pretty much the same price everywhere so i could have just got one from elsewhere.Now the moment is lost and the earliest i could get one is Tuesday.And then i'd have to go through the rigmarole of getting a refund.

ahh this nearly happened to me today, with a nintendo ds for the mrs. Luckily I didnt get to pay but it went out of stock just before then. They had over 10 in stock when I started as well!

Right pain - more so for you obviously!
