pioneer ondig stb reset?

hi got this old pioneer stb out for the kids bedroom, it works, but would like to get rid of all those channels that no longer work since ondig bit the dust. to do a factory rest on the nokias all you had to do was press a series of buttons, does anyone have any ideas on the pioneers?

appreciate any advice.

Just do a full channel rescan.

I've done a full rescan several times its still fetching up channels like S*y one and the old ondigital channels, thought a factory reset then a rescan would do the job

Whats the Model Number of the stb...perhaps I can do some searching for you?

Well I have found the manual and it states this foe a new install.

Channel Search
Normally, this function is only used when first installing and setting up the digital receiver as described
earlier in this manual. You will need to use this function again if you re-install the receiver
in another location or wish to search for new channels that have been added since setup was
conducted. To use this function, follow the instructions below.
To re-install the digital receiver, press the MENU
button, select Option 5 "Getting started," and then
select Option 4 "Store channels."
Since the digital receiver is already setup, a warning message will
be displayed notifying you that existing channel information will be
lost by the setup process. If you do not want to lose this information,
press the RED button to return to the Main menu. No changes
will be made.
NOTE:
• During installation the number of channels that have been
found and the search completion percentage at that point in
time will be displayed on the screen. The message "Your
ONdigital box is searching for all available channels–this could
take a few minutes, please wait" will also be displayed.
• The receiver will continue to tune until it has found all channels
or the RED button is pressed. When all channels have been
found the menu will disappear and the channel list will be displayed

Give this a go.

My OnDig box (phillips) had an add rescan and update scan.

You need option five then four (update scan)
