Question DRE errors, bad iso's or bad wiikey?

    Got Wiikey.

Getting Disk Read errors a lot it would seem across many games.

Not sure why its increasing. It also seems the same games are struggling on a friends wii too.

I've tried burning the games on Taiyo Yudens, Cheapo Memorex, And another unbranded media. I've tried 2x 4x 6x across all media.

Yet Some games just burn and work 100%, ie Endless Ocean, and Mario Galaxy, MOH2 (recent burns)

So is it bad ISO downloads? The par checkers seem to be ok, but should I be using some application to scan the ISO?

I've only noticed this since flashing it to 1.9b and also 1.9g.

Any help appreciated, as this is just weird.....and annoying.

some games will load differently, some stream data and are loading all the time, which may be more prone to read errors.
I have found that TY disks don't work so great in my wii, even though theyre regarded as the best disks available, i think quality varies greatly in batches and where they're produced. Ritek dye has never failed me yet though.

Verbs would always crash after 3-15 mins of play, since using datawrites no problems at all.

just got a new liteon burner for £16. All is fine now..

All media burns wii games , dvd's etc with no more DRE's

My NEC must have slowly been burning out.
