    Question WII points card

I have a couple questions about the wii points cards
    1) can you import points cards from other countries and use them on your console in this country
2)What is the cheapest price that you have seen them for

Don't know about other regions cards.

I paid £14 from woolworths for one, then i got my 2nd with me nintendo stars

I'm in the market for some more points though, so would also be interested in more answers to your questions

Wii Points cards are region-specific and are not transferable to different regions.
    from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Points

Also I have discovered I can't use my Japanese star points on my UK account (got a controller and nunchuck from dealextreme)

I looked on that wiki link that you have posted and it is ridiculous that they are forcing us in the UK to pay so much more for something that is exactly the same and has virtually no delivery cost (no delivery cost if you get your points by card or get the code sent via email) I don’t see why there has not been more said about this. At £14 for a 2000 points card it cost £0.70 per point here and only £0.50 in the US and only £0.43 in Japan I wouldn’t mind but they have stopped you importing as well and I can’t see any reason for this apart from the money

Just a quick question how many star points do you get for a wii and wii games I know 4star points equals a wii point

I confirm this. I bought a DS and a couple of games in the US and I cannot register the star points on my UK account from them either

Nintendo published games are worth 250 stars, a Wii is worth 1000, an I think a DS is worth 500 (a while since I registered mine!)

I think you get stars for Nintendo peripherals too (remote's, nunchuck's etc...) but don't know their value.

Its not as good as wii points, but you can create yourself a US account if you make up a nice fake US address, and claim your stars, then you can at least redeem them for electronic goodies (mostly wallpapers like, but at least its free)
