General question on should I mod or not

Hi All,

From reading the above section in the sticky it appears that the d2c is not updateable and from reading a thread in here someone pointed to a website that said it was (http://www.wii-modchips.com/d2ckey.htm).

This kind of puts me in a quandry as to what to do so looking for some advice from you as to what I should do.

A guy in Glasgow is doing the d2c for 80 but I would need to get there sharpish on sat to get it done and prob not get it back to following monday. Trying to make a choice on whats the best thing to do as I got one of those wii's for my daughter's christmas and was thinking maybe chip and get games

for it.

I am not clued up on the scene so would really value your thoughts and opinions on this please.

IS the d2c flashable and upgradeable ?
Is there a chip coming on the market that will be if the above is not and roughly anyone know the eta for it?

Thanks to anyone for any help you can shed on this dont want to go and waste �80 for a non updateable chip moneys too tight for that at this time of year

The Wiikey team claim it can be updated, but others have said it cant, so who knows, I definetly wouldn't put any trust in the wiikey team but the same happened with the cyclowiz and that turned out to be fine.

The other upcoming D2C chip (Argon) is updatable but only by soldering another chip in to do the flashing, which sounds a ballache to me so your options arent exactly vast. Id wait for the Argon and see whats what at that point.
