does the wii playonline with other poeple like the xbox

how do you set up wii friends ive done a wii me but thats as far as it goes cant find a register bit anywhere

The wii has slight poor online support. You cannot play with other consoles cos they dont have the same games on the whole and connect to different networks.

I think you need to have your friends wii code to connect to them and then play. Its all a bit too much effort tho...

some games support online play, look for the wifi logo on the box.
There isnt that many though, not at the moment. To play your friends you do need their friend code, but you can also just play random people if you wish but this varies from game to game.
