    PS3 Play TV pre-order @ Play.com

    http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStatio...V/Product.html

£99.99 and due for release on the 28/03/08

Hmmm seems a bit expensive to me but then I guess it depends if they have to use some more expensive chipset due to the HD compatibility with the new HD channels that will eventually come.

Probably still get one though I would rather see the price at around £69.99

I have SkyHD at home already anyway but I like the idea of being able to take my PSP away with me on the many trips away from home I do each year and watch some proper TV.

Erm I don't think so fella as the box will probably just have a standard aerial input on the back and a USB cable to connect to the PS3 (somebody really needs to come up with a USB hub for the PS3 that has a ribbon cable connector cased in black that can go under the PS3 so there are no add-on boxes sticking out of the front - should have put a USB connector on the back of the case - hmm could be a good mod that )

I am really looking forward to this being released and fully intend on buying it. I already have sky + but as above the ability to watch prober TV wile away using my psp really appeals to me. As for it costing more because it is capable of receiving the HD channels that will make their way to free view I believe what you are saying is probably correct. I believe anyone with a normal free view box will have to go out and purchase an HD capable one to receive the HD channels but as none available at the minute as far as I know. It is hard to know about the price point for this add-on. Looking forward to this one

Below is a video showing off what play TV can do for anyone that has not heard of it before.
