Default [Remake] The Day the Earth Stood Still

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970416/

Really not looking forward to this. I am a big fan of the first. A great early sci-fi about an alien who came to earth with a robot (Gort) on a mission of peace.

Watch Hollywood murder this...also stars Jayden Smith http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/a...till-cast.html

Why why why...do they have to do this...maybe they think that it`ll do a "war of the worlds" on the box office.
the Original with Michael Rennie was an absolute classic....why does`nt hollywood remake Jaws or starwars while they are at it.....Morons!!!

Nothing will beat the original film and lining up Keanu Reeves as Klaatu is a very very bad choice....would rather see Peter Sarsgaard (superb actor just doesn't get enough credit) or even Daniel Craig take that role, as their's an element of seriousness to it and i honestly can't take Keanu Reeves that serious lol....

This will be another remake of a superb film that will ruin it.......
