If you downloaded Sanj's version then as I understand it all you have to do is copy all of the folders to the root of the SD card (all the folders in the "copy contents to SD card" folder, not the "copy contents to SD card" itself).

Also, you do not need any Turbodog files on your SD card, this I know is definite as I am using a different SD card to the one Turbodog is on!!

Nothing is copied to the device itself, it should all be copied to the SD card. The only thing that needs to be changed on the device is the one registry change mentioned earlier.

I know how you feel mate, I've tried so many versions on my unit!! Version 6.000 was piss easy but it is quite old (saying that most of the TT6 versions are now!!) I even got 6.201 installed on mine but it doesn't support 7 digit postcodes believe it or not!! That's why I'm after 6.030 as quite a few people have told me that it is a relatively stable version!!

Guv, it wouldn't let me email the files to you (the email kept getting bounced back!!) so I've uploaded them:

REMOVED - No posting of warez on the open board.

Basically you need to extract the zip file to the root of your blank SD card, then run the Navigation icon which will load TomTom. Agree to the terms & condition's, when you are asked to choose a map, sekect Guam as this will activate Tomtom, once activated you can select any other maps you have installed by going - change preferences - arrow - Manage maps then Switch maps. Any new maps should be copied to the root of the SD card.

Let me know how you get on, although the TT version above is only 6.000

Thats pretty much as I thought. I have still got everything as it is, so sounds like I just need to delete the navigo stuff I just added and the reg edit and should be hunky dory.

My mate has got Miomap 3.2 on his and to be be honest I didn't see what the big fuss was about? Why do you prefer it to TomTom? I must admit I am going to put it on my Navigo and give it a proper go as quite a lot of people seem to reckon it is better than TomTom so there must be something there!!

Mio Map 3.2



Not fully tested Mio Map as TomTom does the job. Next time I go for a run out, I'll use Mio and see what I prefer out of the two.

Isnt that Tomtom 6.75maps. The version of Tomtom software should be something like 6.03

Yeah you're right, 6.75 is the maps version, that version of Tomtom in the photo's looks like 6.000 to me!!
