That's really good prices I think. I had expected it to be a lot more than that considering what some gaffs in London charge (last meal I went out for ended up at £290 for 2 of us ex tip).

Might need to see about getting a table booked for a month or two's time.

Cheers for the review - it was excellent - and glad you had a good time!

Happy B-day sounds like you had a quality time. Ive been looking at doing the Chefs Table (Basically a table in the Kitchen) in Claridges. Only downside (apart from its a fortune) is the waiting list is massive.

Yeah, the waiting for the Chef's table in Petrus is about 6 months with a minimum booking of 6 and I think it starts at £175 per head.

Great review GB, I'm going to his New York restaurant in April, Maze @ the London. The way things are with Ramsay at the mo, i've got more chance of him being there than in the UK!

Jean Baptiste is the Maitre D there (the one who maitre D's the F word) so hoping to see him there, along with some other celebs!

I'd like to find a few other celeb eateries in New York but I can't think of any! Any ideas folks?

One thing I forgot to mention was the service. They could not do enough for you.

You put your napkin down, you have a fresh one before you have time to blink! They sit you down, it's a wonder they dont feed you and eat it for you too lol.

I was worried at one point that they would just crack open another bottle for us once we had finished the other! Fortunatley they asked lol

Did the toilet attendant shake your knob for you?

Lol, I was expecting a 'helper' like you get in shitty night clubs, but you were left to it. There was just nice hand washes and clean towels to assist. Very marble.... almost like the toilets in the simpsons when Homer get's promoted in the Power Plant lol

I was thinking the exact same thing but all the top notch places appear to be down south
    especially London.

I want to eat like a celebrity!

I want to spot a few well known faces and the money won't come into it that much tbh.

I think Ramsays prices are quite reasonable in the NY restaurants. I'm not against paying $60-80 for a main course. Its a once in a lifetime thing!
