It is now possible to run homebrew without a modchip . This was achieved using a exploit on Zelda found by Bushing along with Segher .

A modified save game from Zelda crashes the Wiii and let them run their own code on it.
This paves the way to finally running Linux on the Wii, without a modchip. While news and information are little now, watch this post develops as information becomes available.

this is quite interesting, I'm guessing it works in a similar way to the 007 hacks on the xbox, and they turned out to be quite fruitful

Definitely interesting.
Probably will not get through newer protection such as SMG:s.
