ok just curious to know what your biggest regrets are with gaming, ie: selling stuff, giving it away, buying a shit computer/console/game or just generally ruining stuff because you didn't know any better.
Mine for me was selling my Sega Saturn package because at the time I was proper skint and really needed the money
It was a mint boxed Saturn bought from ebay for around £35, it came with a load of originals (nothing too rare), extra official controller, scart cable, import games cartridge. and all documentation, etc. To be honest when it arrived I took it out the box to try, it worked then I packed it away again. Some 6 months later I picked up a chip for about £5 and a 4-in-1 Action Replay for it for about £7. I'm really crap with a soldering iron but the Saturn chip points were huge and from what I can remember there was only 4 of them so it was a piece of piss.
After a while I had managed to accumulate a huge collection of games on CDR including Panzer Dragoon Saga, Radiant Silvergun, Elevator Action, Metal Slug, Shining Force III, Dragon Force, Dracula X and a shitload of other quite rare games and even though it spent most of it's life boxed up I really wish I hadn't have sold it since it took me so long to build up the collection.
Also when I was a kid I had a few of them tabletop games like Firefox, Caveman, Amidar etc. Used to love those things and I just wish I had took better care of them instead of covering them in f**kin stickers and then when I got bored with them I would take them apart to see how they worked and put them back to again - often they didn't work.
I also wish I hadn't sold my mint copy of Zelda: A Link to the Past for a fiver many years ago because again I really wanted the money
Right I'm off to dry my eyes now!
