Anyone here do a Mechanical Engineering degree??

Hi its coming to a time were im having to make a decision on my final year project for my Beng Mechanical engineering course.

Anyone here done this or automotive engineering or a related degree??

what did you do your final year project on? just for ideas?

Did an Meng in Chemical Engineering. How does yours work? Is it a group project with an individual part incorporated? Fully group or fully individual?

My bro has done an MEng in Mechanical Engineering. For his project I think a group of them made a bike where you lie down on your back while pedaling.

I'm not 100% sure about that tho. I'll try and get hold of him and see what he says.

just got off the phone with my bro and he did stress analysis modelling for a monocock chassis on a human powered vehicle (ie, the bike I mentioned above).

one of my strengths is cad modelling so im gonna try find something that involves a lot of it.

still in 2nd year at the moment, but weve been asked to do a mock prelimenary proposal just so were prepared for next year. I wanted to do it on what i really want to do so i dont have to do one next year.
