      Default PSU suggestions

      Hi guys,

      Does anyone know offhand of any psu's that have 8x sata power connectors on them? Only looking for something in the region of 450-500W but decent brand such as antec, tagan etc?

      You can get cables to convert molex plugs to 2x sata's, my Hiper PSU came with them.

      I know that but, but don't want to overload one of the rails too much and wanted someone to have already worked all that out for me ie you can have 4 drives on each of these 2 rails etc.

      Just get a high wattage 4 railed Hiper, how are you needing 8 satas anyway?

      nice big raid 5 array - yes I could get 750gb or 1tb drives but this has it's benefits.

      Personally I would get a Corsair, solid PSU's backed up with a 5 year warranty.
