    Question Shit colour bike dilema

I picked up a bike this week but the colour is dead gay so I need to get it sprayed .

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...5248%26fvi%3D1

The colour I have in mind is the Carlsberg beer can green colour .

Basically it would be the tank and side panels that need doing and I'm looking for somewhere local ie Maidstone/Tonbridge area in Kent.

How much should I be paying as I don't really want to mad but I want a professional job doing and not a Halford's spray can jobby ?

4me2, there is not a lot of paint needed there, if you can get the bits off your self take them somewhere local to get them powder coated. It definately does not need a Dream Machine level of job.

It cost me £60 to get a pillion cover painted but that involved sending off for a mass spectrometer paint match as it had non standard colours.

    Crash

Shouldn't cost you too much (at least there is not loads of fairing to paint) Are you anywhere near Newcastle. I have a mate (Car body shop painter) that used to paint my race bikes and does a nice job for good money

It definately wants painting mate thats queer as fook! But not green, either do it B3 Kawasaki green, but if you want it to look any good and cheaper and easier to do and also make it easy to sell on then just go with flat gloss black mate, also a standard colour for that bike too.
I'll see cn I sort you a manual out for it if you havent already got too.

Hi. To answer your original question I reckon about 50 quid for the tank and a bit less for the side panels.

I nearly bought a Kawasaki last year from a bike garage in Brighton down by the marina (bell tower) and the tank was blue. I hate blue and told the bloke that was why I didn't want the bike and he said he could get it resprayed for about £50.
