Kitchen Worktop fitting Query

Anyone know what i would be looking to pay to get some kitchen worktop cut and fitted.

Kitchen is 3m x 3m and i have worktop along one wall about 1.75m, then 90 degree right angle along a further 1.75m and then another 90 degreee angle and it runs 1.5m (this 1.5m is the breakfast bar). On another wall i have a 1m straight piece of worktop that will need cutting and fitting. Worltop is just normal laminate wood type stuff lol

All that needs cutting out is the sink and hob. I would also want the invisible joints. Based in Northants and wondered what a rough price would be for this, before i start calling up for quotes.

hard to say really m8. worktop ranges in price from about £50 to £250 for a 3m length and more if its a breakfast bar. With fitting you are probably in the range of £500+ to get it sorted.

thats why its handy to be in the trade . i get kitchen fitted for bout £200. that right and it not sh1t work all done from a big company

they normally charge anywhere between 30-70 each for the "invisible cuts", you obv. need 2 for each joint. the hob/sink should add another 40-50 on, depending on bits needed to plumb sink in etc. 200 should be MORE than enough for someone to do this for you.

cheers all, i have the actual worktop and all sink, plumbing bits so its just the cutting and fitting of the worktop...... my mate is going to stick the sink and then the over etc in once the worktop is done....

Well your 3m tops depending on which you buy will be from 69 - 120 a piece and then I personally charge 60 quid a joint for butt and scribe, depending where you live i.e. if your darn sarf then Im sure a joiner will spnk you for a bit more as they always seem to think its OK to charge more down there.

Worktops are bought already , so if i hvae two corners would that be £120 ish and then would they cut and fit all straight lengths too? what do you think all in mate?
