Waste Pipe Plumbing

weve just recently bought a dishwasher to fill a gap in the kitchen next to the washer

now the plumbings all there for the coldwater for washer & dishwasher, theres also obviously the wastepipe for the washer

what would be the best way to split the waste pipe off into 2 so we can use both the dishwasher and washer ?

looking at doing it all tomorrow if possible ready, so we have weekend free for fishing & to get my mum off our backs

any help shall be awarded with df dollars

you can buy a saddle spigot to tee into the existing kitchen waste pipe, jubilee clip the waste from dish washer to it. Go to plumbers merchant for best price about 3 quid

so what, that just fits onto the end of the existing waste pipe and allows 2 pipes ?

it cuts into the existing pipe and clamps around the hole or you make the hole with a hole cutter, or failing that get a double spigot P trap and replace the kitchen trap .

checked the watersupply and ones cold ones hot, now we need 2 cold so what would i need to split the cold off ?

will b&q selll all the stuff i need ? as we need to call so it saves 2 journeys

the waste pipe for the washing machine is bang in the middle of the dishwasher & washing machine, so needs moving as you cant push them both back

how its fitted is theres a outlet on wall, a p trap fitted to that then a length of pipe fitted into that

so whats best way to do this ? it needs moving out way so you can push the machines all way back

were thinking maybe drill a hole in the side of the next unit and bang it onto sink plumbing ( theres already a spigot attached to that), p.s. we cant move the outlet due to having a conservatory built and pipe being plastered over and set back into brick work

u can shorten or lenghtenb the pipe very easy m8
40mm waste is standard just buy a few different fitting b+q. u can take back any u dont use
dose the pipe go straight out the wall
take a pic m8 and post asap and ill be able to help u

ended up buying a double spigot p trap and replacing the lot with that and turning to to side, fits perfect now
