Your help please... Bricked 47d????

Hi,
Friend asked me to flash a 360 for him. hitachi 47 done loads before no probs. Booted slax, mode B fine, detected in windows, ran a dvd to check all was well, dumped original.bin using toolbox patched file no problem flashed using the 47 option and the bloody thing hung up (not responding). Now all I've got is a 360 with a flashing front light and no drive showing up in windows. Can this be brought back or have i truly knackered it.

remove tsop and re program it

Only way you can sort this is by removing the TSOP and programming it in an external programmer, getting a spare drive board or a new drive.

easiest / most simple, if you have the drive key, is to buy a replacement drive, surely ?

Yea, either that or a new board for the drive.

But they are also more expensive methods than de-soldering the TSOP, flashing externally and then re-soldering it back on.
