Info integrated washing machine or freestanding

Any of you chaps have an integrated washing machine. Only, I'm about to purchase another washer as the old one has just failed. Seeing as i'm replacing the units as well. Nows a good time to decide whether to go for one.

Are they more problematic then freestanding?
    Do they move about?
    are they generally as good?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Also any washing machine engineers recommend me a reliable brand ? int or freestanding

    Cheers

freestanding m8 for the reason easier to replace/ repair if needed.
we live in a disposable society and replace is now the way, than repair

Aye what that man above me said. Plus we just got a fucking huge 9kg drum. Don't think you can get an integrated one that size.

I would get a freestanding one as the range is much bigger for them. I have an integrated dishwasher, dryer but a freestanding washer as I can choose whatever is most efficient and as big as I want. My dishwasher is an integrated Smeg one which rules but I did pay a fair bit for it to be honest.

Thanks for all your input chaps !

It's a fairly old model, many years of service. Just hope the new washers as reliable. was hoping it will last the kitchen refit so I could replace it after all the major work was complete but didn't last the course. Not sure it's worth repairing as it had one nasty burning smell. So could be the motor. Not sure what happens when the Brushes burn out though.

Yes your right about the limited integrated models that are three times the cost of freestanding and with very limited features and small drum size's. Problem is the oven is S.Steel so a white washers gonna really kill the look of the kitchen.

can you not just put a normall one in the space then wack a cubard door in fron ot it? we have everything integrated. its a bloody pain for replacing stuff, our fridge went and i could not find anything cheaper than 500, then one day like a dream comet had a sale and saw it for 199. snapped that up!
