Default Any good deals on 'decent' photo quality paper?

I've just got a new Epson printer (D92) as I haven't had a colour one for a couple of years and feel the need to start printing out some photos of the kids etc. Just wanted a printer and not an all in one as I already have a decent scanner.

Just had the school order form for the kids school pics and the robbin fuckers want £12 for a 7x5 single pic! I'd prefer to get the one pic from them and scan/print more for the family etc... any good deals going on good photo paper at the mo? Seen some sheets in the pound shop but loathe to buy them at the moment, can't imagine they'd last the test of time (And sunlight lol).

Unless you are spending mega money on paper and inks, your photos arnt going to last forever in strong sunlight etc. If you want durable prints you are as well just taking a scan on a memory card to jessops, tescos or boots etc.

it's usually down to the inks nowadays for how long the photo stays lightfast and epson are boasting a 100 year life for their pigment inks so it shouldn't be too much of a worry nowadays
even photo's done at the photolabs have a given lifespan although they tend to be more durable than your average print
if your using compat inks then forget about it get em done at a photolab iv'e no faith in compat inks what so ever

fuji photo paper can usually be picked up for around a fiver a pack and isn't half bad
if your doing 6x4 prints it's far cheaper to have them done online , jessops etc.. but bigger than that ( 8x6 etc.. ) your better off doing your own
